You probably know that posting videos to your Facebook page is beneficial, but what is the most effective way to share your video – as a link to YouTube or as a direct post on your Facebook page? We don’t have scientific research, but here’s our recent experience. Our client spent $300 on a video that reached 4,466 people in six days. And that number is growing every day!
Greg posted his video (produced by Freed Video Production) as a link to YouTube on February 24th and has reached 47 people (6 days later). Not terrible considering he only had 47 likes to his page on the day the post went up.
The next day, we added the video as a direct post to his page. Since that day (five days later), Greg has reached 4,466 people!
Another interesting fact: we shared the same video at the same time on our Facebook page (with 325 likes compared to his 47) and we reached only 182 people). That is really incredible that Greg could reach so many people with such a small following.
Our conclusion? Your raving fans are happy to share your business with their friends and family – they just need something shareable to post to their page – like a great video!
